The BATT
(Blind And Talkin' Trash)

The BATT is the SLØTH's opposite number. Nothing lazy about this character; hyperactive might be more like it. In one way, though, he's a little like the SLØTH. He's not interested in trying to figure anything out. But unlike the SLØTH, he has lots and lots of thoughts and he's more than happy to share them -- whether any of them are true or not.

Facts are not just stubborn things; they're also worth checking. The BATT doesn't see what's actually going on, but it's really that he neither sees nor doesn't see. And consistency? Why worry? If it feels good, say it. If it's amusing, say it twice. And if it doesn't feel so good a little later, or if something else seems funnier, then say that instead.

BATTs can be amusing company so long as you don't have to worry about the difference between fast talk and hard fact. It's not so much that BATTs can't see as that they can't be bothered to see. Seeing or looking or figuring things out just isn't as much fun as opening your mouth and hearing what happens to come out.
