PETLAMBS People Eager To Let Authority Mandate Belief

PETLAMBs are the PITGOAT's acolytes, and without PETLAMBs, PITGOATs would mostly be harmless. Some people like to believe but don't like to think. Somewhere along the line, they bought into the bleating of a PITGOAT, and now they're starry-eyed true believers, ready to do what the PIGOAT says they should. Some of the worst things that have ever happened in the world have happened because PIGOATs were able to surround themselves with clouds of PETLAMBs. Of course, all of this is too simple. Some people do what they're told without buying into the picture that lies behind it. The luxury of going against what the Great Leader says is one that many people sorely wish they had. They know they're being feed nonsense, but the cost of talking back is far too high. Still, there really are PETLAMBs. They don't just do what they're told; they believe what they're told, and they follow like sheep -- sometimes to the slaughter. -Allen Stairs |
